Tara Online contains selected records of ABC-produced television programs, segments and stock footage, plus material produced by external sources. Records on National Geographic and AP Archive (Associated Press Archive) material that is held in Australia, are also in Tara Online

Scope of the collection
The ABC is home to Australia's largest media collection with more than 70 years coverage of natural history, news, current affairs, sport, science, the
arts and many other subjects. The ABC has more than 52 news gathering bureaux across Australia, and 12 news offices globally.
The ABC supplies stock footage, audio, photographic stills and sound effects to global clients including television broadcasters, production companies, advertising agencies, museums and galleries and corporate clients.
